“I Am Jazz” is a story of a transgender child based on the real-life experience of Jazz Jennings, who has become a spokesperson for transgender kids everywhere.

The reading will be followed by short workshops for educators, families and youth/children. Families, educators and kids of all ages are welcome to attend. 

When students identify as transgender or are gender nonconforming, families, staff and students have questions about how schools are supporting kids. Seattle Public Schools supports all students and offers resources for various grade levels. 

When: Thursday, June 16 from 4 to 6 p.m.
