How does Seattle Public Schools determine where funding goes? Learn all about it in our Budget Book.

The recommended district budget for fiscal year 2016-17 – known as the  Budget Book posted for public review.

The Budget Book is much more than a tabulation of numbers; it functions as a window into all of Seattle Public Schools, including district organization, demographics, enrollment, state funding impacts, how levies work, individual school budgets and much more.

To share feedback, families, staff and community members are invited to attend a public hearing at 4:30 p.m., Thursday, June 23, in the John Stanford Center auditorium. The public may also comment during the regular School Board meeting on July 6, prior to adoption.

Visit our Budget webpage to access the full budget book and learn how to sign up for public testimony.
