    Advanced Learning Referrals

    Referrals for Currently Enrolled Students

    Submitting a referral form is the first step for your student to be tested and considered for advanced learning programs and services.

    Referral forms for students currently enrolled with Seattle Public Schools is completed online via the Source. Read more about submitting referral for Seattle Public School students.

    Referrals for Non-Seattle Public Schools Students

    Students who reside within the Seattle Public Schools boundaries, but are not currently enrolled with Seattle Public Schools have the opportunity to be tested for Advanced Learning eligibility. View our district boundary map or use our address finder to confirm your student meets this requirement.

    Once you confirm your student lives within the district boundaries, submit your intent to test via our contact us form. Please include your student’s date of birth, and fill in all applicable fields. The deadline is September 24 at 5 PM.

    We will schedule your student to be tested and considered for advanced learning programs and services.

    Appeals

    Parents and guardians of students who participate in the eligibility evaluation process may appeal the decision. Read more about the appeals process.
