Advanced Learning Testing and Eligibility Update

Advanced Learning Test Scores and Eligibility Update
Posted on 01/03/2017
Test scores and eligibility for the 2017-2018 Advanced Learning Testing Cycle will be posted on the Source (http://ps.seattleschools.org) in time for Open Enrollment, which begins in mid-February 2017.  Non-Seattle Public Schools families (including Private School and Home School families) will receive a letter via USPS.  (For issues logging into the Source, please email SourceSupport@seattleschools.org directly.)

If your child is found Not Eligible for Highly Capable services or Advanced Learning/Spectrum and you wish to appeal, you will have three weeks from the date of posting on the Source (or post-mark of the letter, for non-Seattle Public Schools families.)

Families of Kindergarten, 1st, and 2nd grade (K-2) students who took the CogAT Screening Form (“the AL test”):

We are still awaiting Screening Form results for many students.  As we receive them, students who require further testing are being scheduled.

Families of both private school students and Seattle Public School K-2 students who require further testing (the full CogAT) will be sent an email when the test is scheduled.  Please make sure our email addresses are added to your contacts:

advlearn@seattleschools.org
alsupportanalysts@seattleschools.org

As soon as a student is scheduled, it will show up on the Source and you can log in to see.  Please continue checking as we will continue receiving results through mid-January!
