    Seattle Public Schools to host five community meetings on the February 2016 Operations Levy and BTA IV Capital Levy

    Seattle Public Schools is hosting five community meetings to share information about our upcoming Operations Levy and our Buildings, Technology, Academics/Athletics IV (BTA IV) Capital Levy which will be submitted to Seattle voters in February 2016.

    Staff members will present information, ask for comments and answer questions.

    The Operations Levy renews every three years, represents nearly 25 percent of the District’s annual general fund budget and supports basic educational programs not fully funded by the state.

    The Buildings, Technology and Academics IV (BTA IV) Capital Levy renews every six years and funds many small renovations and major maintenance projects, as well as technology, academic and athletic initiatives at our school buildings.

    Staff members will present information, ask for comments and answer questions.

    Monday, September 21: Martin Luther King Jr. lunchroom, 6725-45th South
    Interpreters provided: Tagalog, Chinese, Somali, Spanish, Vietnamese

    Thursday, September 24: Ingraham High School commons, 1819 North 135th Street
    Interpreters provided: Chinese, Spanish

    Monday, September 28: West Seattle High School lunchroom, 3000 California Avenue SW
    Interpreters provided: Spanish, Somali, Vietnamese

    Tuesday, September 29: Roosevelt High School lunchroom, 1410 NE 66th Street
    Interpreters provided: Chinese, Spanish

    Wednesday, September 30: Bailey Gatzert Elementary School lunchroom, 1301 East Yesler Way
    Interpreters provided: Spanish, Somali, Vietnamese, Chinese
