Summer School

Summer Learning Opportunities

Summer is a critical time for children and youth to engage in ongoing learning, enrichment, and skill-building.

Lack of access to high quality summer learning opportunities has real consequences – more than half of the achievement gap between lower and higher-income youth can be explained by unequal access to summer learning opportunities. Fortunately, Seattle Public Schools, community based organizations and various city departments offer many programs throughout the summer months.

Below you'll find a compilation of district resources and program offerings. In addition, please check with the front office of your student's school for information about summer learning opportunities.
