We recognize that when families are engaged in their children's education they achieve higher grades, have better attendance and behavior, complete more homework, and demonstrate a more positive attitude toward education.

Ombudsperson

District Ombudsperson works to ensures all members of the Seattle Public Schools community receive fair and equitable treatment in matters of concern or complaint.

PTSA and PTO

Advocacy groups, such as Parent Teacher Student Associations (PTSAs) and other parent-teacher organizations (PTOs) help make our schools vibrant learning communities.
