As the world continues to grapple with the devastation of the pandemic, we know the holiday season will be different for most people. Some of you may be grieving the loss of family or friends, while others may be experiencing financial hardships or homelessness. Whatever you holiday season may look like, you are not alone. If you are concerned about your well being or someone’s immediate safety, here are some places to get help.

Consider programming these numbers into your phone so you have quick access.

Please call 911 if you think someone will harm themselves or others.

Suicide Lifeline: The Lifeline provides 24/7, free and confidential support for people in distress, prevention and crisis resources for you or your loved ones.

Teen Line: Teen Line provides support, resources, and hope to youth through a hotline of professionally trained teen counselors and works to de-stigmatize and normalize mental health through outreach programs.

The Trevor Project LGBTQ: The Trevor Project is the world’s largest suicide prevention and crisis intervention organization for LGBTQ (lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer, and questioning) young people.

Trans Lifeline: Trans Lifeline is an organization offering direct emotional and financial support to trans people in crisis – for the trans community, by the trans community.

Teen Link: Teen volunteers are trained to listen to your concerns and talk with you about whatever is on your mind – bullying, drug and alcohol concerns, relationships, stress, depression, or any other issues you’re facing. No issue is too big or small! Calls and chats are confidential.

Safe Place: Safe Place is a provider of domestic violence and sexual assault/abuse services. The line is open 24 hours a day. Speak with an advocate to get help.
