Dear SPS students, families, and staff, 

It is my pleasure to welcome you back to the 2024-25 school year! I hope your summer break was both restful and pleasant. As we step into this exciting chapter together, I want to extend my warmest greetings to our students, families, and staff.  

Opportunity begins here! The start of the school year is always a time of new beginnings, renewed energy, and endless potential. From our youngest scholars to the senior class, our goal is to help all students explore their possibilities in learning spaces where they feel safe and valued. 

Whether you are new to our district or a familiar face, know you are part of a vibrant and supportive community dedicated to student success. I want to assure you that our administration team, school leaders, teachers and staff are here to provide support and assistance. 

To our students, I encourage you to embrace the challenges ahead with curiosity and determination. Take every opportunity to learn something new, to grow, and to make a positive impact. Believe in yourself, ask questions, and never be afraid to dream big.  

To our families, thank you for your partnership and trust. Your support is the foundation of your child’s success, and together, we can achieve great things. Consistent communication with your school leaders and teachers is critical to your student’s achievement. Please make those connections early and often. 

To our dedicated staff, your passion and commitment are the heartbeat of our schools. You have the power to inspire, to ignite a love of learning, and to make a lasting difference in the lives of our students.
