SPS Native American Education and Visual and Performing Arts programs are honored and humbled to partner with Children of the Setting Sun Productions who have graciously invited 2,000 of our middle and high school students to attend Netse Mot: One People Gathering free of charge!
To get this FREE field trip opportunity offered at your student’s middle or high school, contact the principal.

How to get involved
- Contact your school principal today and request that they honor Indigenous People’s Day by participating in this field trip opportunity.
- Be a chaperone. Make sure you have completed the volunteer application process. It takes two weeks so start right away!
- Help organize the field trip.
What else to know
- There is an evening performance for general audiences that will be streamed as well. Evening performance ticket information.
- The district has asked principals to prioritize Native students and families and student Native clubs.
- Student preparation, expectations, and protocols will be made available to principals before the performance.
