New Student Enrollment for the current school year, 2025-26, is open. New Student Enrollment for 2026-27 opens January 5.
The SPS Enrollment Team is hosting a series of community information sessions in November, December, and January. There will be in-person and virtual sessions, so you can pick what works best for you.
Every Seattle Public Schools (SPS) student is assigned to their attendance area school based on where they live. Students may apply to attend a different school through the Open Enrollment for School Choice process.
Open Enrollment for School Choice submissions by January 31 are on-time and considered for tiebreakers. Late applications accepted until March 31.
