A. Consent Agenda
Routine Approvals (Introduction & Action)
Grants/Gifts, Contracts & Capital Projects Approvals (Introduction & Action)
- Approval of Amendment to Children’s Institute of Learning Differences Contract 2023-2024. Approval of this item would authorize the Superintendent to amend the contract with Children’s Institute of Learning Differences in the amount of $196,215.43, resulting in a contract total of $1,019,807.65 for private placement for students who require intensive specialized instruction, with any minor additions, deletions, and modifications deemed necessary by the Superintendent, and to take any necessary actions to implement this contract. Immediate action is in the best interest of the district.
- Approval of the University of Washington Haring Center and Experimental Education Unit (EEU) Interagency Agreement for the 2024-25 School Year. Approval of this item would authorize the Superintendent to execute an interagency agreement with the EEU and University of Washington Haring Center in the amount of $1,722,508 for the services outlined in the draft Interagency Agreement attached to this Board Action Report with any minor additions, deletions, and modifications deemed necessary by the Superintendent, and any actions necessary to implement this contract. Immediate action is in the best interest of the district.
- BTA V: Approval of Construction Change Order No. 1 with Eltec/Schindler for the Dover Elevator Modernization project at nine school sites. Approval of this item would authorize the Superintendent to execute construction Change Order #1 in the amount of $862,117.38, plus Washington State sales tax (WSST), with any minor additions, deletions, and modifications deemed necessary by the Superintendent, and to take any necessary action to implement the change order. Immediate action is in the best interest of the district.
