Enrollment Planning
Our team’s collective goal is to eliminate opportunity gaps by supporting schools with accurate projections and data to prepare for the district’s future enrollment. Towards this goal, Enrollment Planning:
- Calculates district and school enrollment projections
- Studies the district’s demographics and enrollment patterns
- Determines class sizes at option schools and choice seats at attendance area schools
- Proposes changes to school boundaries when population trends change
- Produces maps using student data
How is Enrollment Planning different from Admissions?
Enrollment Planning helps the district plan for changes in enrollment over time to support student and school success.
Admissions performs the day-to-day public-facing functions around registration, enrollment, and school choice. For more information, please contact the Admissions team.
Visit the School Assignment page for the student assignment lookup tool, current waitlist information by school, the school choice inquiry form, and the “not attending next year” form.
