Library Services
Librarians check out over one million items a year to students. In addition to operating the library facilities, Library Services and SPS Librarians promote the exploration of ideas, the power of information, and the love of reading and learning through the following:
- Provide students and staff seamless access to the information resources they need, when and where they need them.
- Build strong library collections in schools that foster life long readers
- Teach digital and information literacy to students so they learn to evaluate information
- Collaborate with other content area teachers to procure information and resources needed for student success
