Volunteer Registration Process

For the safety of our students it is essential all volunteers follow this process, so please share this update with your fellow volunteers. Reach out to the Volunteer Enhancement Projects office with any questions.

School Volunteers: This application process is required for volunteer roles that support students directly and/or involve regular access to students (classroom or library support, recess and lunch assistance, chaperoning field trips, etc.) This volunteer category also includes those who volunteer at schools more than once a year, or on an ongoing basis with Volunteer Enhancement Projects formerly Self Help Projects. Visit the Volunteer Application Process web page to get started.

Event Volunteers: Volunteer at a one time event or service day. Event volunteers will only be on site when accompanied by a registered School Volunteer or supervised by an SPS employee. To be eligible, Event Volunteers must complete the online registration process.

Following any volunteering, please submit a photo or scanned copy of a completed Volunteer Sign-in Sheet for our records.
