    School Board Resolution on Charter Schools

    On Jan. 3, 2018, the Seattle School Board adopted a resolution to oppose changes to municipal code that would allow charter schools to seek departures from building development and zoning standards in the City of Seattle.

    This resolution communicates the School Board’s opposition to any changes to the City Land Use Code that would treat charter schools the same as public schools for the purpose of seeking departures from land use and zoning standards.
