Ballard Chamber Orchestra in Tampa for the National Orchestra Festival

Spotlight on Ballard High School Music Programs

For students who play an instrument in a band or orchestra, or sing in a choir at Ballard High School, March has been both a busy and exciting month. And for teachers and families who guide and support Ballard’s young, accomplished musicians, the word ‘proud’ can’t begin to describe their feelings over the last 30 days.

    Program Highlights

The Ballard Chamber Orchestra was among 21 orchestras that performed at the National Orchestra Festival in Tamp Bay, Florida this month. This was the first Ballard’s Orchestra was represented at the festival. Students returned home with ratings of “superior” and “excellent” from every judge.
